Meet The GEM C8G
The C8G is the newest design from GEM Forged and one of the boldest wheels in the entire lineup. It was built around a single idea: give the Corvette platform a forged wheel with real presence, without borrowing a design from anyone else.
What defines the C8G is its Y-split spoke architecture. Each spoke flows outward from the hub and branches into a sharp fork as it reaches the rim, creating a layered face with depth you notice from across a parking lot. Pair that with deep concavity across every profile and the wheel reads wider and more aggressive than the numbers alone would suggest.
Every set is precision forged from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum, which means it is stronger and lighter than any cast or flow-formed alternative on the market. This is not a flow-formed wheel wearing a forged label. It is a true forged monoblock, built to order for your exact vehicle.
Why the Y-Split Face Works
Most forged wheels use a straight spoke that runs from hub to rim in a single line. The C8G splits each spoke into a fork before it reaches the lip, which does two things. Visually, it doubles the spoke count at the outer edge, filling the face and making the wheel look wider and more planted. Structurally, the fork distributes load across two contact points instead of one, which is part of why the design holds up so well under high-horsepower applications. It is a design choice that earns its keep in both directions.
